Technical exercise page
Below are my images for the technical exercise. I was using the Cannon 550D to take this images.
![]() | When I took this picture I sitting on a bench next to her. I thought this could be a 'breaking the edge' shot, as you don't know what she's taking a picture of. I used a low ISO of 100 due to the sunlight, and also a high shutter speed of 1/1000 to capture the moment. |
![]() | An action shot of a woman playing the drums. When I took this picture I was playing around with the shutter speed and I managed to get quite a few shots of her. This was my favorite shot out the ones I took because as you can see it’s only her drumsticks that are in motion, the rest of the image is still. I used a low ISO of 100 and a medium shutter speed of 1/400 to capture the movement of the drumsticks. |

![]() | This shot is of a woman taking a picture of Chinese food being made and sold. As you can see I used a low depth of field of F1.8 when taking this picture as only the woman with the camera is in shot and the people in front of her are not. I also used a high shutter speed of 1/1000 to freeze the moment. |
![]() | The next shot is of a man brushing his teeth while selling a magazine; it’s a weird thing to do so I decided to take a picture of him. I used a high shutter of 1/1000 speed in order to freeze his motion. I also used low depth of field of F2.8 as you can the man in the blue jacket is out of focus. |
