Honest truths documentary filmmakers on ethical challenges in their work

Most Documentary film makers see them as creative artists for whom ethical behaviours is at the core of their projects. Since the Resent economic climate film makers have found them self balancing ethical responsibility and practicality considerations. Concerns about documentary ethics are not new, but they have intensified over the past several years in response to changes in the industry. By the late 1990s, U.S. documentary filmmakers had become widely respected media makers, recognized as independent voices at a time of falling public confidence in mainstream media and in the integrity of the political process. Also at this time Television Documentary was increasing for popularity, it was filling the need for quality Television in an expanding screen time. However film makers found them self facing economical and ethical pressure. This is mainly because most documentary film makers run there small business meaning they make and fund there own work however sometimes there own money isn't enough so they need to sell there work to broadcasters or seek funding from a third party.  Often film makers make documentaries just for the money so they can fund there own careers.
